I rarely ovulate, and my cycles are so erratic I never know what's happening, so I plan to test for ovulation in 10 days. Historically, I spot for a week before a very light period. THIS TIME I BLED HEAVILY ON DAY ONE, bypassing the spotting entirely, and it lasted for 7 full days. The initial three days were intense, but it tapered off by day 7, and I feel fantastic now! I'm considering increasing my dose to two pills daily to see the effects. While this supplement might not be the sole reason for my period returning, it undeniably provided a massive boost.

As someone with PCOS, I was incredibly excited to try this and prayed it would offer some relief. Sadly, after finishing the entire bottle, I noticed absolutely zero changes. On the bright side, they were flavorless and caused no adverse side effects.
I began using inositol to regulate my cycle, but shortly after starting, I had an extremely intense ovulation. By cycle day 16, I felt a severe, sharp pain in my lower right abdomen spreading to my back and glutes. It was so intense I ended up at the ER. My blood, urine, and ultrasound results were normal, aside from a minor amount of pelvic fluid and a right ovarian follicle. The medical staff diagnosed it as pain from a ruptured follicular cyst tied to ovulation. While I can't definitively blame the inositol, it undeniably made my ovulation much stronger than normal. This was a painful and surprising event for me, so I strongly advise paying close attention to your body's reactions when you start taking this.
